Place the chicken thighs on a separate baking sheet and brush with the maple glaze.
Roast both the chicken and sweet potatoes for 25-30 minutes.
Check the chicken for doneness; it should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove both the chicken and sweet potatoes from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
