Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water 110°F
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Activate the yeast in warm water with sugar.
  • Mix flour and salt in a large bowl.
  • Combine the yeast mixture with the flour mixture.
  • Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
  • Prepare garlic butter mixture.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal portions.
  • Arrange the rolls in a baking pan.
  • Let the rolls rise again until puffy.
