Savory Turkey Stuffing Balls for Holiday Gatherings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 cups day-old bread cubed
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 celery stalks diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, sauté the diced onion and celery until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed onions, celery, parsley, sage, thyme, cubed bread, beaten egg, and enough chicken broth to moisten the mixture.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  5. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
