Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 cups day-old bread cubed
  • 1 medium onion diced

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, sauté the diced onion and celery until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed onions, celery, parsley, sage, thyme, cubed bread, beaten egg, and enough chicken broth to moisten the mixture.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
