Ingredients
  

  • 2 large sweet potatoes grated
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Prepare the sweet potatoes by peeling and grating them.
  2. Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated sweet potatoes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the grated sweet potatoes, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the sweet potato mixture to the skillet, pressing it down evenly.
  6. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  7. Flip the hash browns and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes.
  8. Remove from the skillet and let them drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your savory sweet potato hash browns.
