Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pound ribeye steak thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the garlic butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise, and spread the garlic butter generously on each half.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion and bell pepper until soft.
  5. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak to the skillet with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, cooking until browned.
  6. Evenly distribute the steak and vegetable mixture over the buttered bread halves.
  7. Top the steak mixture with shredded provolone cheese.
  8. Place the garlic bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
