Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound pasta rigatoni or penne
  • 2 cups grated Gruyère cheese
  • 2 cups béchamel sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook your pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained pasta with béchamel, garlic powder, and half of the Gruyère cheese.
  4. Pour the pasta mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining Gruyère cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
