Rich Chocolate Peanut Butter Muffins for Home Baking

Rich chocolate peanut butter muffins combine a moist, tender crumb with a creamy peanut butter swirl, making them a delightful treat for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease it lightly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin and fill each cup about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
