Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate kisses unwrapped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Chill the cookie dough for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow space between each ball.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
