Jalapeño Popper Football Cheese Ball made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 cup chopped bacon cooked
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • Optional: assorted crackers and veggies for serving

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, green onions, bacon, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a football form and wrap it in plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Once chilled, roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans to coat.
  6. Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter and decorate if desired.
  7. Serve with an assortment of crackers and fresh veggies.
