Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Granulated sugar for rolling
  • Chocolate kisses approx. 36 pieces

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add the baking soda and salt, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and roll them in granulated sugar before placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Immediately after taking them out, press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
