  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate for coating
  • Sprinkles or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the brownie batter by melting chocolate and butter.
  2. Combine sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix the melted chocolate into the sugar and eggs.
  4. Stir in the flour, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Chill the brownie batter until firm.
  6. Form the chilled brownie batter into balls.
  7. Melt the semisweet chocolate for coating.
  8. Coat each truffle ball in melted chocolate.
  9. Garnish and chill to set the coating.
