Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare a baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
Gradually add the flour, salt, and chocolate chips, mixing until just combined.
In a separate bowl, prepare the brownie batter by melting the semisweet chocolate chips and butter together, either in a microwave or double boiler.
Stir in the granulated sugar, followed by the eggs one at a time, then mix in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Add dollops of cookie dough on top of the brownie batter, spreading gently.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 15-20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Once completely cooled, cut into squares and enjoy your Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs.
