Ingredients

  • 3 cans 16.5 oz refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 3 cups apples peeled and diced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk for glaze

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a bundt pan by greasing it well.
  • In a large bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon to create the coating mixture.
  • Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Roll each piece in the sugar-cinnamon mixture until well coated.
  • Layer the coated dough pieces in the prepared bundt pan, interspersing with the diced apples.
  • Pour the melted butter evenly over the layered dough and apples.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar and milk to create a glaze, then drizzle it over the warm monkey bread.
