In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream and chicken broth until well combined.
Fold the cream mixture into the chicken and broccoli mixture until evenly coated.
If using pasta, add cooked pasta into the mixture and stir to combine.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
