Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz pasta linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  • In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Mix in the cooked pasta, lemon juice, lemon zest, and half the parmesan cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkling the remaining parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
