  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Brussels sprouts by trimming the ends and halving them.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, cooked bacon, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired.
