- 1 pound pound cake cubed
- 2 cups vanilla custard
- 2 cups mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup crushed gingersnap cookies
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional

Cube the pound cake into bite-sized pieces.
Layer the ingredients in a large trifle dish or individual cups, starting with a layer of pound cake.
