Delightful Strawberry Pretzel Salad Treat

Layered with sweet strawberries, a creamy filling, and a crunchy pretzel crust, this Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a delightful addition to any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 6 oz package strawberry gelatin

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl.
  • Press the pretzel mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Fold in the whipped topping gently into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread the cream cheese layer over the cooled pretzel crust.
  • In a saucepan, combine water and strawberry gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then mix in diced strawberries.
  • Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set.
  • Slice and serve chilled, garnished with additional strawberries if desired.
