Delightful Nutella Puff Pastry Hearts for Any Occasion

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Flour for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut out heart shapes from the rolled pastry.
  • Spread a teaspoon of Nutella on the center of half the heart shapes.
  • Top each Nutella-filled heart with another pastry heart shape.
  • Crimp the edges with a fork to secure the hearts.
  • Brush the tops with egg wash.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool briefly on a wire rack.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
