Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside to rest, keeping it warm.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth, allowing it to deglaze the skillet by scraping up any brown bits stuck to the bottom.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Return the chicken to the skillet, and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to meld the flavors.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
