Delicious Turkey Chili Mac & Cheese for Cozy Nights

This Turkey Chili Mac & Cheese combines zesty flavors with creamy textures, making it an ideal dish for cozy gatherings or a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can 15 oz chili beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground turkey to the pot and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes with green chiles and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add in the elbow macaroni.
  6. Cover the pot and cook until the macaroni is tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  7. Once the macaroni is cooked, stir in the drained chili beans and shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes over low heat until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
