Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package of crescent dough 8 oz
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon sugar for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Fold in the diced strawberries into the cream cheese mixture gently.
  • Roll out the crescent dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface, sealing the perforations.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  • Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a log shape.
  • Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
