Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, rice, onion, milk, egg, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into 1- to 2-inch meatballs and place them in a baking dish.

  • Pour the tomato sauce mixture evenly over the meatballs in the baking dish.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
