  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
  • While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet.
  • Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  • If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  • Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and serve it over the pasta.
