This Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff Stew offers a rich blend of tender beef and creamy sauce, creating a comforting dish ideal for cozy family gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Brown the beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Transfer the browned beef to the slow cooker.
  3. Sauté the onions and garlic in the same skillet.
  4. Add sautéed onions and garlic to the slow cooker.
  5. Stir in the mushrooms, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  7. Stir in the sour cream before serving.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
