Add the pitted dates, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the nuts, and process until combined.
Fold in the dark chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down evenly.
Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
Let the bars cool completely in the dish before slicing.
Once cooled, remove the bars from the dish, cut into squares or rectangles, and sprinkle with a bit more sea salt if desired.
