Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Unroll one can of the crescent roll dough and line the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Beat until smooth.
Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and layer it on top of the cream cheese filling.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top dough layer before adding melted butter.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top layer of dough and sprinkle with any remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
Allow the bars to cool in the baking dish before slicing into squares.
