Decadent Churro Cheesecake Bars for Sweet Indulgence

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar divided
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Unroll one can of the crescent roll dough and line the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Beat until smooth.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
  • Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and layer it on top of the cream cheese filling.
  • In a small bowl, combine the remaining sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top dough layer before adding melted butter.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the top layer of dough and sprinkle with any remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  • Allow the bars to cool in the baking dish before slicing into squares.
