Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat and sear the chicken until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually add shredded Gouda, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Cook orzo according to package instructions, drain, and add to the cheese sauce.
- Combine the chicken and orzo mixture, ensuring each piece is coated in that heavenly sauce.
- Transfer everything to a greased casserole dish and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes.
- Once cooked, garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
