Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup smoked Gouda cheese shredded
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat and sear the chicken until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually add shredded Gouda, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Cook orzo according to package instructions, drain, and add to the cheese sauce.
  7. Combine the chicken and orzo mixture, ensuring each piece is coated in that heavenly sauce.
  8. Transfer everything to a greased casserole dish and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes.
  9. Once cooked, garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
