Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup French fried onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Drain and set the green beans aside, then sauté the mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a skillet.
  4. Combine the sautéed mixture with heavy cream, vegetable broth, and soy sauce.
  5. Fold in the blanched green beans and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  7. Top with French fried onions.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
