Comforting Turkey Tater Tot Hotdish Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bag 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté until it becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined and heated through, about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the turkey mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the turkey mixture in an even layer. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
