  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers diced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a large triangle.
  3. Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a border.
  4. Layer with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Decorate with pepperoni and diced bell peppers.
  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Brush the edges with beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden.
  9. Let it cool slightly, then garnish with fresh basil.
