Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour

  • 3/4 cup warm water

  • 1 packet yeast (2 1/4 tsp)

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage

  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots

  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce


Instructions

 

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes.

  2. Add flour and salt, knead until smooth. Cover and let rise 1 hour.

  3. Mix veggies with soy sauce for filling.

  4. Roll dough into small circles, add filling, and seal.

  5. Heat oil in a skillet, pan-fry buns until bottoms are golden.

  6. Add 1/4 cup water, cover, and steam 8 minutes.
