  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen huckleberries

  • 1/2 cup sugar (for filling)

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch


Instructions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, and butter to form a crumbly dough.

  3. Press half into a greased 9×13 pan.

  4. Toss huckleberries with 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch, then spread over crust.

  5. Sprinkle remaining dough on top.

  6. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden. Cool before cutting.
