Stuffed Italian Meatloaf Recipe: A Flavorful Twist on a Classic Dish

  • 2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup onion, diced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese


Instructions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, and seasoning.

  3. Flatten mixture into a rectangle on parchment paper.

  4. Spread with marinara and mozzarella. Roll up carefully into a loaf.

  5. Place in baking dish, top with Parmesan and extra marinara.

  6. Bake 55–60 minutes until cooked through.
