Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh if you have it)

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, parsley, black pepper, and salt.

  2. Place salmon fillets in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure each piece is coated well.

  3. Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

  5. Remove salmon from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.

  6. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  7. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
