2 cups fresh huckleberries

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

2 cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8 pan.

Cream butter and sugar, then beat in egg and milk.

In another bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir into wet mixture.

Gently fold in huckleberries.

Pour into pan and bake 45–50 minutes until golden.
