Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

  • Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot, sauté onion and garlic until soft.

  2. Stir in crushed tomatoes and broth, bring to a simmer.

  3. Cook 15 minutes, then blend until smooth.

  4. Stir in cream, basil, salt, and pepper.

  5. Simmer 5 more minutes before serving.
