  • 1 lb chicken sausage, sliced

  • 1 1/2 cups orzo pasta

  • 3 cups chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan

  • 2 cups spinach

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced


Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.

  • Add garlic and orzo, toast for 2 minutes.

  • Pour in broth, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 10 minutes until orzo is tender.

 

  • Stir in cream, parmesan, spinach, and sausage. Cook until spinach wilts.
